Research has shown that the most effective way to reduce pain and increase longevity is through movement. This program begins with classes that focus on specific areas of the body to increase function, and help to improve fine motor skills and body awareness. The program combines the exercises learned throughout the series, with a full body approach. The series also includes a guided self care massage. All classes are taught at a meditative and mindful pace, with clear instruction and with lots of variations and modifications throughout. Chair Yoga will empower students to feel confident to make choices in their practice that truly serve their bodies. It is an excellent course for Yoga Teachers looking to teach Chair Yoga or incorporate Chair Yoga elements into their classes.An official school-issued certificate is optional for students using the course solely for Continuing Education purposes. This is at an additional cost of $55 USD.
