Description: When learning Hebrew, everyone has to start somewhere.  This is the course that will show you how to read and understand the Hebrew Aleph-Beit.  In this course there are several video lessons to walk you through the Aleph-Beit. In addition there are some language charts that can be download so that the student can practice copying the letters. The completion of the course is dependent on how fast the student desires to go through the course.  Since one idea builds on the previous, the student can take as much time as necessary in order to built a strong foundation in the Aleph-Beit.The course is structured in three parts.  The first part is dealing with consonants, the second with part with vowels, and the third part is putting words together from the letters.This course is designed for the individual that would like to learn how to read and write in Hebrew.  This is a starting point for the any student young or old to learn Hebrew from an online program.  There will be Biblical and Modern Hebrew courses offered latter.  However, in order to progress to these than one must be able to read the Hebrew Aleph-Beit.
